An account of the colony and trade, and study of the Native Americans, their habits and costumes. Considered to be one of the best early accounts. Contemporary full leather binding with gilt titles and decoration and a burgundy label to spine. Engraved title, title. Contemporary owner's signature to the title page. [vii], 1-416, [xviii]. pp
170 x 100 mm (6¾ x 4 inches).
Condition: The binding is in good shape, with a little rubbing to the edges. Cracking to the front hinge but still holding. Slight darkening to the initial pages, but overall the book is in very good condition. Plates are clean and tidy, good impressions.
